Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your device. Paranova works fully offline and never uploads your financial data to any server.

How do I back up my data?

Open Settings → Backup to export a backup file, and Restore to import it on a new device.

How do I lock the app?

Go to Settings → Lock to enable Face ID or a PIN.

Does Paranova support multiple currencies?

Yes. Pick your base currency in Settings; each account can hold its own currency.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Since nothing is stored on our servers, no further action is needed.

Privacy Policy

Short version: Paranova stores all of your financial data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or have access to your personal or financial information.

1. Information we collect

Paranova does not require an account and does not collect personal data. Everything you enter — accounts, cards, transactions, budgets, goals and settings — is stored only in a local database on your device.

2. Data transmission

The app works fully offline for its core features. Your financial data is never uploaded to our servers or any third party.

3. Device permissions

Face ID / biometric access is used solely to unlock the app on your device, and notification permission solely to deliver reminders and insights you enable. These are processed on-device and not shared.

4. Backups

If you create a backup, the file is generated on your device and stored wherever you choose. You are responsible for the security of files you export.

5. Third-party services

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and may use Expo's over-the-air update service to deliver app updates. These services do not receive your financial data.

6. Children's privacy

Paranova is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
